PLATAFORMALUZ is a grassroots movement defending the rights of over 4,000 residents in Madrid’s Cañada Real, who have lived without electricity since 2020. It denounces institutional neglect, demands access to energy as a fundamental right, and mobilizes society through protests, campaigns, and legal action.
Its brand identity reflects this mission. Simple yet powerful, it uses a visual language of activism. The typography recalls handmade protest banners and posters, while the color palette contrasts black, symbolizing darkness and abandonment, with yellow, representing light, resilience, and dignity. Together, these elements capture both the hardship of the blackout and the hope for change.
