SARSNO-CM is a research project led by ISOM (UPM) and CSIC that developed an environmental detection system for SARS-CoV-2 using optomechanical nanosensors. The team, led by Dr. Javier Martínez and Dr. Eduardo Gil-Santos, combined sensor design, nanofabrication, and experimental validation for real-world use.
This scientific work was translated into a new digital product aimed at clearly communicating the project. Our mission was to improve and modernize the previous version. Through a user-centered design approach, we redefined the information architecture, improved the content hierarchy, and used tools like tree testing, surveys, card sorting, and heuristic evaluations to guide evidence-based decisions.
The visual identity was also completely refreshed, resulting in a more modern, approachable, and coherent digital presence aligned with the project's innovative nature.
